OS X for Dummies (or at least new Windows Switchers)

Couldn't resist, could you? Bought yourself a nice, small, shiny mac-mini. It sure does look pretty. But, what's all that blue stuff when you turn it on? And how come you don't see any spyware software or virus protection utilities?

Oh, you mean that OS X is not like Windows? That's a good thing, right? Right - you have no idea how much of a good thing it is yet.
